Buy 13, 2018 - Mount Rainier National Park Henry M Jackson Memorial Visitor Center Area

We followed the same route as we did yesterday to Mount Rainier National Park and visited the Grove of the Patriarchs Trail.  It is an island with thousand-year-old Douglas-fir and western red cedar trees.  The trail starts with nice walkway alone the Ohanapecosh River, then we had to pass a hanging bridge, then to a boardwalk to view Douglas-fir and western red cedar trees. It was exciting to see so many thousand-year-old trees and we had many photos taken there.
On the way back, we ran into a lot more people trying to cross the hanging bridge.  Since there is a weight limit on the bridge, we had to wait in line for quite a while to crosse it.

Then we drove to Reflection Lakes.  At the beginning, we didn't get to the right spot and couldn’t find any reflection of Mount Rainier at all.  After we walked further into the trail and close to the water, we found a particular spot with a smaller lake next to the big lake.  Since the water in the smaller lake was still, therefore we were able to see the reflection of Mount Rainier.  Needless to say, we got quite a lot of photos.  We also had our lunch there.
Then we drove on the winding road and finally got to Henry M. Jackson Memorial Visitor Center.  We hiked on the Myrtle Falls Trail all the way to Myrtle Falls.
Next to the Myrtle Falls, there is a spot with the most impressive view of Mount Rainier.  And we took many photos there.
Then we visited the shopping area of the visitor center and did souvenir shopping.

In the afternoon, our plan calls for Longmire Wilderness Information Center.  However, the road sign for this information center was not clear and we missed it completely.  We did not even notice it until we drove out of the Nisqually Entrance of Mount Rainier National Park.  At that point, most of us had enough hiking and were looking forward to have a nice meal at Tin-Tai-Fung, therefore we decided to pass the Longmire Wilderness and get back to town to enjoy our dinner. We had a wonderful dinner at Tin-Tai-Fung.  After dinner, we did more shopping at Uniqlo.
