July 12, 2018 - Mount Rainier National Park Sunrise Visitor Center Area

We drove to Sunrise Visitor Center area first.  From different spots on our way to the visitor center, we had many chances of seeing Mount Rainier from different angles with different views.  As a matter of fact, we were able to see Mount Rainier even when we were still in the town of Puyallup.
After we arrived at Sunrise Visitor Center, we had our lunch first and then we hiked on the Shadow Lake Trial all the way to Glacier Overlook to view the beautiful Emmons Glacier of Mount Rainier.  On the way, we stopped by Shadow Lake for photos.  At first we saw some shadow, however, on our way back we had an opportunity to see reflections too.
There was a steep climb right before the Glacier Overlook, some of us were ready to give up the climb.  However, we ran into a ranger who told us that there was no reason for us to stop at that point, therefore, we moved forward and was rewarded with breathtaking views of the glacier on Mount Rainier.  It was worth the effort of this steep climb.
When we went back to town, we ran into traffic and decided to stop by one of the Chinese restaurant found online.  Unfortunately, it was not up to the bar in comparing with any Chinese restaurant in Houston.

On our way back, we found out there is an Uniglo store in one of the shopping center (Southfield Southcenter) in Seattle and we decided to check it out.  After we finally found the store, it was to our surprise that Din-Tai-Fung (鼎泰豐) restaurant is just next door to Uniqlo.  Since we already had dinner, we all decided to have meals there the next day.  In the meantime, we just did shopping at Uniqlo.
